This year’s 2021 Virtual Hawaii STEM Conference was a great success with 560+ attendees from across the state logging in to learn about all things STEM. The STEM conference provided teachers, students, and school administrators the opportunity to participate in professional development sessions on agricultural sciences, astronomy, computer science and programming, creative media design, cybersecurity, film production, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), NOAA resources for the classroom, robotics (in person and remote), space exploration, and more.
Participants walked away with new skills and teachers gained valuable resources for their classrooms. We would especially like to give a shoutout to all our 2021 STEMMY Winners. To see who won, check out Challenges & Hacks — 2021 Hawaii STEM Conference – STEMworks
