What you will learn:

With the help of John Antonio, State Energy Coordinator of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), you will get valuable information about the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).
REAP can provide to eligible applicants guaranteed loans, grants, or a combination loan and grant for qualified project costs.  At this workshop you will learn the following:

  • REAP’s eligible loan and grant purposes
  • Those eligible to apply
  • The maximum loan and grant amounts
  • Application requirements and deadlines
  • Tips for completing your application

One-On-One Consultations:

After the workshop USDA staff will be available for one-on-one assistance to talk about your specific projects and needs.  Don’t miss this opportunity to potentially increase your margins and lower your energy costs.

PRESENTER:

JOHN W ANTONIO has 10 years of lending experience working with Citigroup as a mortgage lending consultant serving the Greater South Bay/Silicon Valley area. In September 2015, he joined the US Department of Agriculture under Rural Development where he became a State Energy Coordinator based in the State of Hawaii. As Energy Coordinator, John works with farmers, ranchers, and rural small businesses interested in applying for assistance with installing energy efficient and renewable energy improvements. John serves as a member of the Hawaii Energy Policy Forum, a collaborative energy planning group based in the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  He currently resides in Hilo, Hawaii.
