Jan 22, 2025

The Pacific Intelligence & Innovation Initiative (P3I) is now accepting applications for its VICEROY MAVEN-Hawai‘i Internship, a seven-week summer program for college undergraduate juniors and seniors and graduate students interested in building careers within Hawai‘i’s defense sector.

VICEROY MAVEN-Hawai‘i is an immerse, intensive, in-person program that will be held on Oahu from June 16 through July 31, 2025. Participants will work in teams to collaborate with military commands to address complex, mission-critical challenges. Each team will be assigned a real world, regional problem, a mentor from a military command, and an advisor from P3I. Upon the completion of the internship, teams will present their analysis, findings, and recommendations to military and civilian senior leaders.

The VICEROY MAVEN-Hawai‘i cohort will also engage in activities such as visits to various military commands to learn about Hawai‘i’s defense sector.

Participants will be paid about $4,000, obtain a security clearance, and gain invaluable experience for future career opportunities.

Applications must be submitted by 11:59PM HST on January 31, 2025 at hawaiip3i.org/maven/
