Wayne Wong of Hawaii Small Business Development Centre on Maui hosted a Livestream Watch party by Google on December 17 at MEDB’s Malcolm Center. A small group of small business owners and entrepreneurs showed up bright and early 6:30am for the presentation to learn how Google AI can help them work smarter in their business.

The workshop was a beginner-friendly introduction to artificial intelligence for small business owners. Attendees learned how they can start incorporating AI into their operations, even with limited resources or technical expertise:
- The Basics of AI: demystify AI, explaining what it is in simple terms and how it can be relevant to small businesses.
- Benefits of AI for SMBs: highlight the key advantages of using AI, such as increased efficiency, improved customer experience, and better decision-making.
- Google’s AI-Powered Tools: showcase specific Google tools that leverage AI and demonstrate how these tools can be used by small businesses in practical ways: including a real life use case example.
